ZENDO Lims® is an advanced management software in the cloud for Clinical Analysis Laboratories of all sizes operating in both Sectors, public and private.
ZENDO Lims® design was carried out with the following objectives in mind ease of use and the logical follow-up of the analytical process, from the sample reception request to the issuance of the clinical results report.
Optimise the requests entry and demographic data using the most appropriate method at any given time. Register requests manually, via a form, via graphical sheet readers or via remote centres.
Include tests individually, via profiles, associated tests or programmed rules. Define test panels according to your needs and achieve personalised and quick data entry.
You will be able to register batch requests by requesting a set of tests for a group of patients, without the need to repeat the process for each one of them.
Configure yourself the request number format to identify each of the samples by combining the current month, year, day or freely set a series. You can also specify an automatic increment when registering each request.
Obtain the expected collection date of the analytical test according to the processing time of each test, taking into account the working calendar defined for your laboratory.
Print out Request Forms with detailed patient information and tests to be performed sorted by section or by container.
Write comments on the request or establish possible diagnoses. You may indicate the physiological group or patient condition, such as pregnancy or puerperium, which may vary from the normal reference values for some of the tests.
By creating Groups of Requests you will have the possibility of grouping different related requests, with the aim of generating a single Results Report that allows you to obtain the information in columns by tests or by samples, as well as the introduction of all your results from a unified screen.
Organise your laboratory tasks using worksheets
ZENDO Lims® allows you to create different models with different ways of data selection. Freely set up the tests that will be part of each worksheet and choose between different presentation layouts (summarised, detailed, columnar, etc.).
Enter easily the test results contained in each worksheet using the grid mode.
Through Closed Worksheets Management You will be able to generate worksheets by section and by laboratory, including only the requests and tests existing at the time of its creation. Throughout the Worksheets management you will control, in real time, the status in which they are, and you will have the possibility of expanding, deleting, printing out, entering and validating the results of all tests that are part of each generated worksheet.
Set up results selection filters according to a multitude of criteria: date ranges or log numbers, pending results, by company, provenance, petitioners, tests, worksheets, urgent, groups, sub-groups, profiles, pathology, etc. A complete and intuitive screen design allows you to visualise the status of each result with all the information available for its evaluation.
Results can be displayed as numbers, free text, comments, calculations, masks, and coded results. Using the Speech Recognition you will be able to add them comfortably.
ZENDO Lims® allows you to control conveniently the previous results from patients while introducing the current ones.
Attach images to requests or tests using the Multimedia Module , by integrating them fully into the report (karyotypes, proteinograms, photographs, evolutionary charts, functional tests representations , etc.).
ZENDO Lims® keeps a complete record of all the actions carried out, which guarantees the traceability of the request.
The Results Validation Module will allow us an exhaustive review of all the results obtained by the laboratory. You will be able to validate manually or automatically through a simple selection process of results by multiple criteria such as: out of range results, normal results, Delta Check control, pending results, etc. By configuring Smart Rules you could define at your wish, without limitation, all those cases of interest that it needs for the results validation.

Personalise the report to your taste, modifying any aspect related to presentation and structure. Configure as many headers and formats as you consider appropriate, without any kind of limitation ,and keep the look of your laboratory's clinical reports including fonts, colours, logos and digitised signatures.

Total Control. The Task Supervisor gives you an overview of the overall status of the Laboratory.
The system will show you graphically, both by requests or by tests, the situation according to its status (pending, incomplete, completed, validated, with incidents, reported, etc.). You can view all this information according to different criteria (time periods, routine, urgent, external laboratories, worksheets, etc.) and break it down by centres, areas and sections.
In addition, you can modify and validate interactively the results, as well as generate results reports.
The Appointments or Planner Module offers us the possibility of generating scheduled appointments for sampling on a specific date. We will be able to create, modify, review and organise these appointments through an interactive calendar. Likewise, we will have at our disposal the possibility of creating all types of lists and to manage automatically the conversion of these appointments into the system as Requests.

Labels design . Create and design labels using a web editor or through a ZPL interpreter.
ZENDO Lims® allows the creation of barcode labels in different formats and encodings. Two web tools are currently available to develop this feature:
Web Editor: A complete web assistant to create personalised labels, simply by dragging the different components and indicating the desired content to achieve a 100% customisable design.
ZPL interpreter : If you already have a ZPL code to generate your labels, simply enter it into the system to generate them, also you can view the encoded result on the spot.
Data importer . Enter your maintenance data from external files.
By using the import tool, you can enter the data from your old Lims programme and work with the system in the shortest possible time.
You could import data from text files, spreadsheets, Access databases, XML or CSV files.
Through the Reference Laboratories Module you can graphically control all the details related to the sending and reception of tests, visualising the number of tests that were sent, were received or are still pending, its cost or its estimated invoicing, filtered by external laboratory.
In detail, you will monitor the expected delivery date of each result, as well as those which results have arrived after the deadline or are pending to be received. In addition, a timeline has been implemented where you can conveniently view all the results expected for a given date.
The new Smart Rules Management Module allows us to automate tasks in the laboratory by creating Search, Handling, Printing and Alerts rules through complex conditions and actions.
By using Search Rules you can customise the requests and results selection by using advanced queries that link request, samples, tests and data result.
Through Handling Rules you can indicate actions such as, adding and deleting tests, modifying results and comments, repeating tests, validating results, etc., on the requests that meet the chosen status.
The Printing Rules provide us with the possibility to generate results reports, request lists, worksheets or advanced statistics depending on the conditions set.
With the Alarm Rules you will be able to send e-mail alerts, register messages in the system or create incidents, for those requests and results that meet the set criteria.
Throughout Smart Rules Control Panel you can launch the rules you need at any time, monitor all executed actions and check the history of completed ones.
Statistics and Petitions List make possible to use the entered data, breaking down each petition by test, company, provenance and/or petitioner.
Generate different types of Listings depending on each moment's needs and make use of the available filters to achieve greater details.

Decide which images, photographs or PDF files will be included in the results report, set the order of appearance and location of those images, and optionally add a note or description to be included next to the images, photographs or PDF files.
Zendo Lims® includes a powerful Invoicing Module which helps you to generate invoices for both, patient and company. You can interactively view and modify any concept related to the invoice (prices, taxes, batches, etc.) before generating it. You can also select a variety of formats for its display (by company, by provenance, by petitioner, by test, reduced, detailed, simple, complete, broken down, etc.).
The system is prepared to generate invoices in electronic format according to the specifications of the companies or clients. Likewise, it can automatically incorporate the companies' price lists provided electronically.
There is also a customised invoicing , for the issuing of free invoices for any concept.
The invoicing module allows you to keep an exhaustive control of your invoices. issued invoices (patients, companies and personalised). The system performs a complete collection management and generates lists according to different criteria. Likewise, it can create invoice books, generate remittances, make exports to accounting programmes or send invoices automatically by e-mail.
The system also incorporates a comprehensive Cash Module to control and organise all cash movements made in the laboratory such as openings, receipts, withdrawals and balance updates.
The Incident Management becomes an indispensable tool for the certification or accreditation of your laboratory according to ISO quality standards. With it, the application users will be able to register non-conformities, corrective actions or preventive actions. It will allow you to keep track of any unusual situation that you wish to reflect on it. You can freely define categories, types and classes of incidents to cover all sections and activities in the laboratory. You can also indicate the level of priority, the assigned users, or set up a system of intelligent warnings for each of the incidents.
You could also define Control Serum Values for input into the system and for further graphical processing. The data nining supports graphical representations such as Levey-Jennings or Cusum. Through the activation of the Westgard Rules , we will be informed at all times of any alerts or errors detected in the controls checks, as well as the causes of such problems. We will also have the possibility of graphically display the Average Daily Values of all analysed tests in the laboratory, as well as the times when they were carried out and their standard deviation. The Warehouse Management allows us to freely define suppliers, reagents and consumables to make it easier for us to place orders with suppliers and control their arrival by means of delivery notes and received invoices.
We will be able to carry out manual and automatic warehouse movements in order to have the stock for each of the goods fully updated in real time.
You will have the possibility to obtain the economic value of the warehouse at any time, as well as of items out of stock or below the minimum stock required, as well as to check expiry dates and batch numbers.
Through the warehouse statistics, you can graphically display the number of orders, items and cost per supplier or product.
The Quotation Management will offer us the possibility of keeping a complete control of all the quotes generated for clients, both in their initial stage (with all the necessary documentation), as well as in the supervision of the workflow carried out and finally, in the control of their invoices and payments.
The status of each quotation will be displayed by means of coloured symbols: in process, accepted, paused, rejected or completed.
When registering the request and selecting the client, we can indicate to which quote we want to link it and we will only include the tests accepted in that specific quote.
By defining a quotation, we will be able to configure the offer to be made to the client for approval using a fully personalised document.
We will track in real time all the requests included in the quotation and monitor their completion status.
Finally, we will issue the invoice to the customer and control if the payment has been made.
In addition, you will have the possibility to create Quote Groups of different characteristics in a single one in order to obtain global documents and invoices.
The Emergencies Module allows us to monitor conveniently the status of urgent registered requests in the system.
The status of each request will be displayed using coloured symbols: not started, incomplete, complete, validated and informed.
We will be able to access the desired request to modify it, complete its results, validate them or issue its report.
Through the system we will keep an exhaustive control of the requests that exceed the established maximum processing time.
Its configuration allows us to generate results reports automatically as soon as your results have been completed and validated.
With the Emergency Statistics will exploit graphically all urgent requests processed at different time intervals (monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, etc.), as well as those that have been completed after the deadline.
The Pre-analytical Requests Management Module has been specifically designed to carry out the distribution and reception of the sample containers, controlling the areas or sections that they must pass through to complete the analysis process.
A simple system of containers, holders and sections allows you to break down requests and distribute tests so that each container is sent to the defined destinations and in the indicated position. Perform aliquots of samples when necessary.
You are able to know at all times, the location of the container, whether it is at its destination or if it is pending dispatch by accessing the traceability of the tubes.
In addition, you will have the possibility to log comments and incidents on the containers during the distribution and reception process.
The Distribution Supervisor allows visual control of the status of each of the containers included in the pre-analytical process: Not delivered, delivered, received and completed in each of the sections. All this information can be broken down by Laboratories, by Sections, by Containers and by Identifiers.
Through Serum Bank Module or Sample Warehouse you will be able to keep an exhaustive control of the stored samples in the laboratory. Freely design the size and layout of the storage racks for each of the sections or for each of the centres.
